Telekom contradicts Höcke: Everything for Germany was not a advertising slogan

Deutsche Telekom has denied the statement by the AfD politician Björn Höcke about a supposed earlier advertising saying by the company and is considering legal steps. Höcke claimed during a TV duel against the CDU politician Mario Voigt that Telekom used the slogan "Everything for Germany" a few years ago. Telekom rejected this claim to be wrong and announced that it would turn on its lawyers.

The said sentence is a forbidden solution of the NSDAP storm department (SA). Due to the use of this slogan in a speech, Höcke is to answer for the allegation of using indicators in Halle next week before the district court in Halle.

Last year, Telekom had taken measures against AfD Federal Proterer Alice Weidel after she had mistakenly claimed that the group had used the sentence in question in the past as a advertising slogan. Weidel was asked to refrain from these statements.

During the TV duel, Höcke defended his choice of words and said that he did not know during the speech that it was a SA slogan. He described the saying as a "common saying". Telekom and other companies are therefore persistent against such false claims and check legal steps to protect their reputation.
