RegioTalk: IT security in companies - protect yourself from data theft!

The RegionalKinkubator Berlin Südwest (Rik) cordially invites all interested parties to the 22nd RegioTalk on Thursday, April 11th, at 6.30 p.m. in the Club Goerzwerk. The focus is on "so that data does not become prey-IT security in companies". The event is intended to inform the importance of IT security in everyday life and in particular into how companies and private individuals can protect themselves from data leaks and cyber attacks.

In times of increased home office work, it is particularly important to use your own digital devices safely. However, many people are not familiar with terms such as "ransomware", "Vishing" and "Smishing", which is why it is crucial to deal with current developments and potential dangers.

The experts from the digital agency Berlin will explain current threats to companies during the 22nd Regiotalk and give tips on how to protect yourself from phishing attacks, for example. It is discussed why IT security is important for everyone and how you can certainly work in the home office. In a panel discussion, various aspects of IT security are illuminated, moderated by Juri Effenberg and with guests such as Christian Köhler, Marc-Alexander Nagel, Moritz Vernier, Kerstin Ehrig-Wettstaedt and Tilo Schneider.

The event takes place in the Club Goerzwerk in Goerzallee 299, Berlin, and is free of charge for all guests. Registration by email to regionalinkubator@ba-sz.berlin.de is welcome until April 9th. Further information on the course of the Regiotalk and other events of the Rik Berlin Südwest are available on the Rik website (www.rik-berlin.de). Interested parties are invited to participate and to exchange ideas about the important topic of IT security.
