Action days in Steglitz-Zehlendorf: Walking for health and the environment together
The Steglitz-Zehlendorf district government is taking part in the campaign days of the Berlin Regio Association of the Healthy Cities Network for the third time. During this period from the beginning of April to the end of May, numerous offers for walking together are offered to enjoy sociability and interesting conversations in fresh spring air, to learn something new about the district and to do something good for health and the environment. The offers are usually free of charge and are aimed at all generations. Many of the walks are barrier -free and also suitable for people with restricted mobility. Some walks are even accompanied by city councilors Steglitz-Zehlendorf.
The campaign days not only offer one -time walking offers, but also the opportunity to get to know regular walking offers in the district. Interested parties also have the opportunity to support or guide a walking group themselves. The coordination for Steglitz-Zehlendorf lies with the organizational unit for quality development, planning and coordination in the public health service (QPK). This is only possible through the commitment of the sponsors and institutions in the district as well as the volunteers, who are expressly thanks.
Further information on the walking offers can be found on the Internet at www.steglitz-zehlendorf.de/spaziergang month and in the printed program, which will soon be available in the town halls, city libraries and the two locations of the VHS. The campaign days offer a great opportunity to move actively, to get to know new people and to discover the diversity and beauty of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district.
