Cities partnership in times of crisis: Nahariya and Tempelhof-Schöneberg strengthen bonds

The city of Nahariya, in the north of Israel and near the Lebanese border, has been undergoing tests in recent months. After the devastating attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023 and months of rocket attacks by the Hezbollah, a ceasefire was lucky on November 27, 2024. Siren has also repeatedly heard in the city of Acre in the past few days, which once again came into focus of the dangers, which was enjoyed by four months of relative calm. At the same time, the city of Katzrin, the largest city in Golan, received strong rocket fire, which resulted in numerous fires. Firefighting teams, supported by six fire -fighting aircraft, fought for hours against the flames. In Nahariya and also in Katzrin, the citizens remain in their apartments despite the increased attacks, since many buildings do not have paved shelters.
