City walk through the Bavarian Quarter: In the footsteps of famous personalities
with the Seniors department on city exploration
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the Seniors department of the Spandau district office, Office for Social Affairs, invites you to a special city walk. This time the focus is on the Bavarian district in Schöneberg, which is also known as "Jewish Switzerland". Many important personalities of Jewish faith lived and worked here, including the famous physicist Albert Einstein.
The walk leads the participants in the footsteps of these influential personalities in order to learn more about their history and their work in this quarter. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. on Viktoria-Luise-Platz and ends at 1:30 p.m. at Bayerischer Platz underground station.
In order to take part in the journey of discovery, a contribution of € 4 per person is charged. The number of participants is limited, so early registration is recommended.
