Spandauer Jugendjury 2024: Apply now for funding!

The Spandau youth jury goes into the next round! The program “Made strong!- Youth influences” of the youth democracy fund Berlin and the district office Spandau again provide funds in 2024. Young people are often full of ideas and these are promoted by the Spandau youth jury. Here young people aged 10-21 years old can apply for financial resources to implement their project ideas. The special thing is that the award is made exclusively by young people for young people in a democratic process. The dates for the youth jury 2024 this year are:
- Youth jury I: 06.04.2024 (deadline for submission: 06.03.2024)
- Youth Jury II: 29.06.2024 (closing date: May 31, 2024)
- Youth jury III: 12.10.2024 (closing date: 16.09.2024)

The Spandau youth jury offers young people the opportunity to support their ideas and projects financially. This not only contributes to the personal development of young people, but also strengthens the sense of community and democratic participation in society. The youth jury is organized by the young people itself and democratically decides on the awarding of the funds.

District Councilor Tanja Franzke emphasizes the creative project ideas and the positive effects on young people in Spandau. It is particularly gratifying that the projects also benefit other children and adolescents in the region.

Historically, there is a long tradition of participation in young people in municipal decision -making processes in Spandau. The Spandau youth jury builds on this tradition and enables young people to actively participate in the design of their living environment.
