Planning workshop for the green ring: your ideas count!
The Spandau district office would like to invite all residents and interested citizens to actively participate in the design of the northern Rieselfeld gross grave. At a planning workshop on September 25, 2024, the participants have the opportunity to contribute their ideas and suggestions for the development of this green connection. The workshop takes place in the elementary school at Amalienhof and extends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in four one -hour runs.
"The northern Rieselfeldtlanggraben is the last section of the green ring that is not yet open to the public. Our intention is to open this area to the public, to take into account the needs of the residents as well as nature and environmental protection," explains the Bausstadt Council of Schatz. With a total length of 5.7 kilometers, the green ring will play a central role in the urban development area Brunsbütteler Damm / Heerstrasse, a project that aims at sustainable urban renewal.
planning workshop and kick -off event
As early as July 11, 2024, the opening event for the participation procedure took place, in which around 140 people were present. This workshop now gives the citizens the opportunity to contribute their specific suggestions for planning the green area. "The events are important to actively involve the public in the planning process," adds Schatz.
Registration is required for participation in the workshop, which can be made by email to gr--sued@ag-urban.de or by phone at 030/60 98 22 547. The organizers, AG.Urban, together with the district office Spandau and the planning office Group F, offer the participants the opportunity to find out more about the focus issues at various stations.
The overarching goal of the project is to establish the green ring as a continuous and accessible green connection for all citizens. Many residents and citizens are already interested in the project and hope to increase the quality of life in the region.
The committed participation in such events is crucial to include the needs of the community in the planning processes and to promote sustainable development. Changes in urban planning often require the participation of the citizens, since their opinions and needs can significantly contribute to the design of public spaces.
For more information on the project and the workshop, additional resources are available that should keep citizens up to date. The green ring has the potential to make a significant improvement in the quality of life in Spandau by creating a green connection between different districts.
