New play and football field on Götelstrasse: a meeting point for everyone!

A new paradise for fun and fun is created on Götelstrasse: The brand new play and football field is on 14. November 2024 at 11:00 a.m. ceremoniously opened! A big event that small and large discoverers can look forward to! City Councilor Thorsten Schatz will lead the opening ceremony together with State Secretary Stephan Machulik and Mosaik-Berlin gGmbH, the future guardian of the playground.

But that's not all! This playground is not just a place to play, but a place that celebrates diversity. Here not only daycare and school children find new opportunities for romping, but also integrative games that enable children to play and learn together. This is very important to a happy cooperation!

The football field - a highlight for all football fans!

The approximately 1,800 sqm soccer field is the link between the playground and the future roll sports facility of the SJC Wildwuchen. Sports enthusiasts can let off steam here and show what they can do on it! The new path connection to the Havel invites you to explore the surrounding nature and to experience the beauty of nature up close.

This great project was supported with funding from the urban planning program "Living Centers and Quarters", which ensures the embellishment and revitalization of Wilhelmstadt.
