Wilhelmstraße, 13581 Berlin, Deutschland - The district office Spandau has completed a new pedestrian crossing in Wilhelmstrasse. The redesigned overweight offers a barrier crossing for children as well as for mobility and visually impaired people. After completing the work, the new pedestrian crossing will not only be marked by the different curb heights of 0 and 6 centimeters and by tactile markings, but also by adequate lighting, which further increases safety in road traffic. These measures together should increase traffic safety and significantly improve the crossing of the planned crossing for all users.
