Am 1. Juni findet der MusikschulTag auf dem Schulhof und in den Räumlichkeiten des „Alten Kant“ in Berlin-Spandau statt. On June 1st, the music school day will take place in the school yard and on the premises of the "Alte Kant" in Berlin-Spandau. At this event, the focus is on participating, because visitors have the opportunity to try out different instruments and take part in workshops in drumming, dancing and singing. A highlight of the day are the appearances of ensembles and bands that range from classical to rock and take place every 30 minutes on the open-air stage. The music school day is organized by the Freundeskreis of the Music School, which also takes care of the physical well -being. In addition to drinks, there are cakes and hearty snacks. At the information stand, visitors can ask all questions about contracts, leisure instruments and the offer of the music school.

The deputy mayor Dr. Carola Brückner emphasizes the importance of the music school day: "The extensive program offers everyone the opportunity to get to know the diverse offer of the Spandau music school. The participants can try out different instruments and experience the community feeling of the music school."

The music school day begins at 10:00 a.m. and access takes place via Jüdenstraße 54.
