Flag blows again! Spandau celebrates the new town hall tower flag mast

On December 4, 2024, the district flag was finally raised again on the town hall tower of the Spandau district after no flag mast was present for over four years. District Mayor Frank Werbig and district councilor Carola Brückner accompanied this event and emphasized the importance of the symbol for the identification of the Spandau citizens. The renewed flag mast, which was completed on November 14, 2024, protrudes 13 meters and now offers impressive visibility at night with a special lighting system.

The new flag mast, which is now embellished by the 80 meter high town hall, is not just an optical asset. It is equipped with a stable construction, which is anchored four meters deep in the foundation to ensure security and weather resistance. Additional highlights such as a gilded ball on the mast tip bring the structure an elegant look. This type of football mast is also in the tradition of fulfilling high demands on quality and durability, as can be observed in flags of modern masts, which are made from weather -resistant aluminum and stainless steel, such as Fahnen-kreisel reported.

In addition, there are now different types of flagpoles that can be adapted to the different needs. Whether rotatable booms or internal rope guides, the quality and functionality are always guaranteed and thus also support the visibility of advertising products and flags. These professional masts ensure a strong hold and are an indispensable part of the public space.
