Specialist dementia in Spandau: Support and tips for those affected

Under the urgent motto "in the middle and not only", the Gerontopsychiatric Verbund Spandau e.V./Goldnetz gGmbH and the district office Spandau invite you to the highly relevant information event on the topic of dementia! On December 5th, an indispensable specialist day will take place in the historic citadel Spandau, which will draw attention to the problem of this disease.

From 12:30 p.m., practical tips and support offers are available for anyone interested. Experts share their knowledge and informed about valuable offers of help that those affected and relatives urgently need. Nobody is left alone at this event - an important step towards sensitization!

District councilor Tanja Franzke drew attention to the alarming number: "In Berlin, at least 66,000 people are ill." Increasing changes in behavior are often ignored - be it the neighbors who suddenly fall silent, or family members who react strangely. "We want to contribute to clarification and understanding," continues Franzke. This event is not only intended for specialists, but also for the general public that comes into direct contact with the topic.

The Spandau citadel, a significant place, will be the stage for this important exchange on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The event takes place in the hall A of the old barracks and access is free.
