Big Five of Spandau: Playing, discovering and winning in the old town
From 1st to July 13, 2024, the old town of Spandau becomes the stage of a special marketing campaign: the "Big Five of Spandau". Visitors are cordially invited to discover the main center of the westernmost Berlin district and its offers in an exciting and playful way. The campaign offers a unique experience: five different animal motifs - deer, duck, fox, sheep and stork - are hidden on various shop windows and facilities of the old town of Spandau and the Spandau Arcaden. Each animal figure stands for a different category of offers that should get attention: deer for shopping hotspots, duck for culinary delights, fox for craft and services, sheep for health facilities and stork for cultural highlights.
During opening times, visitors can get adhesive points in the participating shops and collect them on an action flyer. The aim is to collect adhesive dots of two shops per category. Small give-aways, discounts and special actions await the strolls in the shops that make the stroll even more attractive. The fully glued action flyer can be submitted in the old town management, and all participants automatically take part in a raffle in which many great Spandau products and experiences can be gained.
For those who want to explore the old town outside the regular opening times, there is an online version of the campaign: Simply scan the QR codes on the shop windows and check off the animals on the website. With ten collected codes, online participants also take part in the raffle. Mayor Frank Werbig invites you to take part in the search for the 'Big Five of Spandau' and to combine shopping, enjoyment and culture in a playful way.
