District Alliance for Economic Affairs and Work in Spandau: Funding instrument for strengthening local economy and social integration.
The district of the district is committed to the interests and potential of the district. The BBWA campaign plan aims to strengthen employment, social integration and the economic structure in the district. The political goals of the European Union are to be implemented, in particular the promotion of social integration and strengthening the local economy.
In addition to cooperation and networking projects for the development and use of local solutions to combat poverty and social inclusion, model projects to test measures are also to be made possible. The state of Berlin promotes these projects through the funding instrument of local social capital (LSI) and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The implementation takes place at the local level by the BBWA and the administration takes place by the IBB.
The Investment Bank Berlin (IBB) has started a project call for labor market promotion and offers information events and advice on the submission of project proposals. The application to the IBB is possible from 02.10.203 to 30.09.2024. Funding of up to € 50,000 can be requested per project, with a funding duration of up to six months in the period from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
District Mayor Frank Werwig emphasizes that the funding instrument can help to try out social-innovative solutions to fight poverty and social inclusion. In addition, the goals of the European Union in Spandau can be implemented, which contributes to strengthening the cohesion at the local level.
