Berlin: Howog starts renovation of the B. Traven Community School

The Berlin school building offensive has the declared goal of providing good and sufficient school places through the new building, the renovation and expansion of schools. The Howoge is commissioned as a partner of the State of Berlin to renovate the B. Traven Community School. The school consists of several sub -buildings of different builders, which will be renovated in the coming years and converted barrier -free. At the same time, the location is expanded to increase the school places to a total of around 888 school places.

The increasing demand for school places in the region requires these measures. In order to bring the project closer to citizens and present the current planning status, the Howoge and the department of school construction planning and renovation of the Spandau school and sports office invite you to an online information event.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. as a video conference via Microsoft Teams. Inter choice is possible from 4:15 p.m.

These renovation measures are part of a larger trend in Berlin, in which a large number of schools are modernized and expanded in order to cover the educational needs of the growing population.
