Swimmers: Inside of environmental and social associations, Klimageld in 3-degree cold spree demand

this morning around 50 representatives: inside of the environmental and social associations and a union in front of the Reichstag gathered to demonstrate for the faster introduction of the climate field. This campaign took place because today the final consultations in the Bundestag for the Federal Balent Household begin in 2024. Despite its own announcement in the coalition agreement, the Federal Government has so far refused to introduce and pay out the climate field quickly.

In a recently published representative opinion survey on behalf of Greenpeace, 62 percent of those surveyed spoke out for the federal government to pay a so -called climate field inside. This money is intended to create a social balance for the increasing CO2 price that makes climate-damaging fossil energies such as oil, gas and fuel more expensive. Households with medium and low incomes in particular are heavily burdened because they have to spend a larger part of their income for energy costs.

The climate field is intended to cushion these loads by rejecting the Federal Government's income from the CO2 pricing to the citizens annually: inside. The participating organizations call on the federal government to pay the income from the certificate trade as a climate field and to introduce this as soon as possible.

At this point, the call for social balance and justice becomes particularly loud. Many citizens: Inside, the climate field sees as a necessary measure to alleviate the consequences of the CO2 prize and at the same time make an active contribution to climate protection. The speed at which the Federal Government acts on this matter is therefore seen as an important indicator of its credibility in terms of climate protection and social responsibility.
