Shots, drones and SEK use: Violence in Berlin-Marzhahn escalated!

In a worrying turn of events, two incidents occurred on Sunday, in which men in Berlin threatened firearms. The first incident occurred in Neukölln, where the police officers arrested a 37-year-old arrest, which was handled in a bar on Sonnenallee with a weapon. Witnesses alerted the police around 1.30 a.m. after the man entered the bar and then seen nearby with a firearm. The police secured a sharp weapon when he was arrested, while a breath alcohol test showed a value of about 2.5 per thousand. The suspect was taken into custody and the investigation into threats and violation of the weapons law was taken over, as reported by Berlin.de.

SEK insert in Berlin-Marzahn

As early as Saturday, police forces in Berlin-Marzahn were called for another dangerous incident, in which a 30-year-old threatened two sales representatives with a suspected firearm. The drama unfolded around 11.20 a.m. when the employees rang on the door of the suspect. This led to a massive use in which the building was cordoned off and special forces (SEK) were brought in. The situation continued to escalate when the man appeared on his balcony, but finally followed the instructions of the police and went back to his apartment. There, the police found both a firearm and a machete that were ensured, as the Berlin union reported on Facebook. The arrested person was also brought to the detection, while the investigation into the background of the incident continues.
