Ambulances and cars collide in Kremmen: three injuries

Am Sonntagvormittag ereignete sich in Kremmen ein schwerer Verkehrsunfall zwischen einem Rettungswagen und einem Pkw. Der Rettungswagen war auf dem Weg zu einem Einsatz mit Sonder- und Wegerechten, als der Pkw-Fahrer die Vorfahrt missachtete und es zur Kollision kam. Bei dem Unfall wurden insgesamt drei Personen verletzt. Sowohl der Fahrer als auch der Beifahrer des Rettungswagens erlitten leichte Verletzungen. Auch eine Insassin des Pkws klagte über Kopfschmerzen und wurde zur weiteren Behandlung ins Krankenhaus nach Neuruppin gebracht. The accident recording and clearing took around two and a half hours. The Nauener Chaussee had to be locked for about an hour. Then the traffic was guided past the scene of the accident. The accident was a clear case of disregarded right of way, which led to considerable injuries and property damage. The police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident to clarify responsibility. It remains to be hoped that everyone involved will quickly recover and the damage to property can be resolved soon.
