Wildlife rescuer in Berlin: Claudia Johanna Bauer presents 15 narrative portraits
On Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 7.30 p.m., Claudia Johanna Bauer will present 15 narrative portraits of wildlife rescuers in the Humboldt Library in Berlin. In her book "Coffee with Raccoon", the author presents people who work for Berlin's wildlife with a lot of love and commitment. They help flight dogs that cannot fly, support hornets when moving, carry toads across the street, free bats from color pots or savings raccoons.
Claudia Johanna Bauer studied German, music sciences and philosophy and has been working in Berlin since 2000. In addition to her new book, she is already known in the Humboldt library through the “bookmark-Literature Live in Tegel”. In addition, she is involved in the Reinickendorf district, heads the VHS literature competition "The writing works show", the "Memorial Workshop" in the Reinickendorf Museum and various groups of authors.
The event takes place in the Humboldt Library, Karolinenstr. 19, 13507 Berlin, and starts at 7.30 p.m. Admission is free. Interested parties have the opportunity to learn more about the work of wildlife rescuers in Berlin and to be inspired by the stories of the people who are committed to the well -being of the animals.
