Father weeks: reading workshop strengthens bond in Reinickendorf

A very special event for all fathers in Reinickendorf is imminent! On Saturday, October 19, at 4 p.m., the Humboldt Library in Tegel opens its doors for a unique reading workshop that invites men to discover the fascinating world of reading. The Reinickendorf City Library has decided to drastically increase the proportion of fathers who regularly read aloud. At the moment only about 11% of fathers read their children - a value that is simply not acceptable!

Petra Lölsberg, a true expert in the field of communication and literary pedagogy, will support the participants in reducing their uncertainties. "Many fathers believe that they cannot read 'well'. I will show them that this does not count. It's about spending valuable time with the children - this is priceless!" Regardless of whether the fathers are beginners or just looking for a new access to read aloud, the event offers everyone the opportunity to develop their "super work"!
