Open day of the Berlin day care for children inspires guests!
Last Saturday the 9th day of the Berlin day care for the day care center took place, at which nine day care centers in Reinickendorf opened their doors for interested parties, children and parents. Under the motto "Look at day care", the day care staff Yvonne Cibis and Victoria Nouira presented their premises in the day care center "Im Kleine Forsthaus". They were accompanied by district councilor Alexander Ewers and youth welfare director Claudia Schütz and other counterparts.
The visitors were spoiled with coffee, cake and wild boar sausages from the Tegeler Forst and received an insight into the natural surroundings of the Tegelsee district forester, where the day care center is located. The guests were able to enjoy the farm atmosphere with sheep, chickens and fallow deer, which is offered to the children every day.
District City Councilor Alexander Ewers praised the day care center as a "wonderful place for children in the middle of nature" and as an enrichment for day care in Reinickendorf. In recognition and thanks for their pedagogical work, all participating day care centers received a voucher from the "Tegeler Büchstube".
The Berlin day care for the day has existed as an alternative form of care for children in the daycare age for 50 years. The open day serves to make this form of care in small groups through trained day care staff and to give parents the opportunity to get to know the facilities.
