Mayor emphasizes the important role of the Bundeswehr for Reinickendorf

The relationship between the Bundeswehr and the Berlin district of Reinickendorf is considered essential for the community by the mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner. The long -term cooperation not only creates political connections, but also friendships that are based on mutual commitment and understanding.

A meeting was recently organized in a pleasant atmosphere to honor the Bundeswehr's work for freedom and security. On this occasion, both the Bundeswehr members and the citizens took the opportunity to discuss future projects. The close connection between Reinickendorf and the 7th company of the wax battalion as well as the Bundeswehr staff music corps has existed for many years. The sponsorships were concluded with the aim of experiencing similarities and gaining understanding for each other through intensive conversations. This partnership is considered exemplary and imitated by many other districts.

The origins of this binding go back to 1995 when Reinickendorf sponsored the Army Music Corps 400 at the time. Relationships have developed since then, and the joint projects have a significant contribution to strengthening the band between the Bundeswehr and the municipality of Reinickendorf.
