RFC Liberta 1914: 110 years of camaraderie and integration
On Saturday, May 11th, the Reinickendorfer Football Club Liberta celebrated its 110th anniversary in 1914. The association, which is known for its diversity and tolerance, is home to athletes from over 56 different nations. District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner congratulated the association on behalf of the district office and praised Peter Hahn for his 50th anniversary for integration in the club.
The RFC managed to adapt to the challenges of the time and combine tradition with progress. This is considered an advantage in order to successfully counter the upcoming changes by the planned Schumacher district in the neighborhood.
