Reinickendorf is preparing for tourist anthurms

On July 4th, the Humboldt library in Reinickendorf is the place where interested citizens come together to talk about the future of tourism in its district. District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) invites you to get to know the results of a new tourism concept that was created jointly by tourist companies, the tourism association and other actors of the district. This concept is intended to serve as a strategic basis to establish Reinickendorf as a tourist destination outside the city.

Reinickendorf has a lot to offer, including the Humboldt Castle, the White City World Heritage Site and a unique nature. The district wants to market its advantages to attract more visitors and boost the local economy. The tourism concept will present, among other things, the mission statement for the tourist vision of the future as well as important fields of action and measures.

District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner emphasizes the importance of broad support for the concept, both on the part of the administration and the population. She encourages all Reinickendorfer to actively contribute to the district's tourist development and to advance tourism.

The public event on July 4th offers the opportunity to find out more about the tourism concept and ask questions. Registration is not required, but questions can be addressed in advance to the specified email address. It is expected that the event will take about an hour and space for an open dialogue about the future of tourism in Reinickendorf.

Active participation of the citizens in the design of the tourism sector could have a long -term positive effects on the local economy and the quality of life in the district. Through targeted measures and joint commitment, Reinickendorf can be further developed as an attractive travel destination for both Berlin visitors and for the local residents.
