Neuer Jugendtreffpunkt in Frohnau: Eröffnung von Unterm Dach am 16. Februar

On February 16, a new youth center called "Unterm Dach" will open in February, in the north of Reinickendorf. The youth center offers young people aged 14-27 an open meeting point with a wide range of offers, including music, board games and creative activities. In addition, there are various advice options for young people in difficult situations. The youth center is carried by "Roter Baum Berlin" and financed by the Reinickendorf youth welfare office. It is the first youth center in Frohnau since 2011 and is supported by the district councilor for youth and family, Alexander Ewers (SPD).

The youth center "Under the roof" opens every week from Tuesday to Saturday and offers a variety of activities and opportunities for leisure activities. Mobile work also takes place in which young people can be reached outside the facility. In addition, the youth center is on the road in the summer months with a large, red bus in the Reinickendorf district to offer young people sports and games as well as the opportunity to help shape events.

The opening ceremony on February 16 at 3 p.m. includes live music, a DJ, cooking together in mobile cuisine, and numerous play, sports and creative opportunities. The offers of the youth center should offer young people in the north of Reinickendorf the opportunity to just be, chill out, become creative and bring in their own ideas.

The opening is a welcome novelty for the young people in northern Reinickendorf, since there has been no youth center in Frohnau since 2011. The "under the roof" will certainly be a valuable enrichment for the local community.
