New Quasseltreff-Bank at the town hall Reinickendorf: chats connects
The current unveiling of the new Quasseltreff bank in front of the Reinickendorf town hall marks an important step in the fight against loneliness among the population. The yellow and violet -painted bank was designed by trainees in the green area department and invites you to chat with six inspiring sayings in red.
District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner emphasized the importance of the project: "Loneliness affects all sections of the population, especially older fellow citizens. With our Quasseltreff benches, we invite people to chat spontaneously. If you sit on these colorful gardens, you are ready to get to know."
The initiative for creating Quasseltreff benches is part of a broader program to combat loneliness in Reinickendorf. The creation of places of encounter and exchange should strengthen social interaction and reduce loneliness.
