New entrance zone in the Office for Social Affairs: Start on 03.06.2024!

After two years of intensive planning and preparation, the time has finally come: On June 3rd, 2024, the new entrance zone in the Office for Social Affairs in the Reinickendorf district will officially start operating. This measure aims to significantly improve customer service for citizens. The official opening will take place on June 4, 2024 at 12 p.m. in the presence of district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) and the responsible social city councilor Uwe Brockhausen (SPD) and the entire college of the district office. Interested parties must register in advance on the phone number 9029-2061 in order to be able to take part in the opening ceremony.

Social City Councilor Uwe Brockhausen (SPD) visited the new team in the entrance zone before the start and emphasizes the good preparation. The new employees look forward to the customers and are intended to significantly improve the service for applicants and beneficiaries. The new entrance zone was planned and implemented in close cooperation with other departments of the district office and the Senate Chancellery. Spatial and technical requirements were created, such as a call system and a ticket machine for the waiting zone in the south hall of the town hall. Four monitors were also installed in the hallway of general social services for better visitor control.

A total of five new employees will support the entrance zone in the Office for Social Affairs. This measure is intended to help optimize the administrative process for the citizens of the district and to improve accessibility. With the creation of this new infrastructure, the efficiency of the office is increased and the satisfaction of the citizens is increased.
