Canoe club Heiligensee receives special funds for new boat hall floor renewal

A glamorous moment for the Heiligenseer Kanu-Club e.V.! On October 11, 2024, the time had finally come: The district councilor Kerstin Köppen personally presented the coveted special remedy badge. The pride and joy were written in the face of those present, while all eyes were addressed to Oliver Gieschke, the 1st chairman of the club. The canoe club had taken the initiative this year and applied for almost 3,900 euros in special funds through an application. These funds were urgently needed to bring the dilapidated bottom of the middle boat hall to shape. The effort was worth it! Thanks to the financial backing, high -quality materials and competent service providers could now be hired in order to subject the hall to an upgrading process.
