On Saturday, May 17th, the annual youth regatta of the Heiligensee Kanu club took place at the Niederneuendorfer See. This event represents a highlight for the young athlete community and impressively shows the vitality of canoeing in the Reinickendorf region. District city councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) took part in the award ceremony and emphasized the importance of commitment and joy in paddling. "Events like this promote cohesion, motivation and young sporting youngsters," he said during the honor of the participants.

Despite changeable weather, the atmosphere at the regatta was happy and familiar. The volunteers provided a smooth program and adequate meals for guests and participants.
