"The differences between the clinics are striking. Our data clearly show that the clinic's routine and experience are decisive," explains Dr. Carola Reimann, CEO of the AOK federal association. How do you recognize whether a clinic does well? The analysis also includes important patient characteristics such as age and previous illnesses to ensure a fair comparison. This ensures that each clinic is assessed based on its actual performance.

Important messages also come from North Rhine-Westphalia! Here, the upcoming hospital reform could lead to quality -oriented clinics in the endoprosthetics preferred in the future.
