At the end of the third quarter of 2024, the breathtaking transaction volume (TAV) is around 8.7 billion euros - an overwhelming plus of 53% compared to the previous year! Where is it buzzing? In the large cities of the country!

The numbers speak for themselves: The investment is attracted! björn Holzwarth , spokesman for German Property Partners (GPP), explains: "In the past three months we have found an upswing in the investment activities in most locations. However, many of the transactions are still in the small to medium -sized price segment." So the big ones have to be careful, because even the small fish swim with a lot!

Holzwarth is optimistic: "We expect the careful upward trend to last until the end of the year." Nevertheless, he warns: "Even if the top 7 overall result is likely to be above the previous year's value, it remains clear below the long-term average." An interest rate reduction by the ECB could give the market an urgently needed signal, but first a stabilization of the economic framework must be stabilized.
