The Pankow road and green space office warns of entering public green and recreational systems due to a current storm warning from the German Weather Service. Hurricane gusts can occur locally and represent a danger.

The district councilor for order and public space, Manuela Anders-Granitzki, emphasizes the urgency of the warning and appeals to the citizens: "Please be careful in the next few days and stay away from public green and recreational systems."

The long dry period of the past few years has weakened many trees and they are particularly at risk. Despite regular review of the trees for traffic safety, there may be a stagger or abort strong branches. The people who are in parks and green areas are therefore in mortal danger.

It is important that citizens take the warning seriously and adhere to the precautionary measures to avoid accidents and damage.
