New playground in the Niederschönhausen Brosepark opened solemnly
in Niederschönhausen, a district of Pankow, the construction work on a new public playground in the Brosepark was completed. The ceremony will take place on Monday, February 26th at 11:00 a.m., in the presence of the district councilor for order and public space, Manuela Anders-Granitzki.
The playground was planned and implemented, taking into account the wishes and ideas of daycare and school children. It offers different devices for children of different age groups, including a multifunctional toddler combination, a climbing wall, a triangular climbing tower and a double swing. In addition, there is a plant hill with a playable tunnel tube, wooden platforms for sitting and playing, a renewed fence and bicycle stand. A newly spotted lawn remains locked up.
The district councilor Manuela Anders-Granitzki was positive about the completion of the playground and invited to the ceremonial opening. The playground was financed with 250,000 euros from funds from the daycare and playground renovation program (KSSP) of the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family and implemented by Friedrich Scharf GmbH Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau.
The new playground is an enrichment for the local community and offers children the opportunity to let off steam and play in a variety of ways. Considering the wishes and ideas of the children in the planning and construction execution shows the city's commitment to meet the needs of the youngest residents.
