Berlin music school day 2024: A day in the opera!

On July 7, 2024, a special musical event will take place in Berlin: the day of the Berlin music schools. The twelve Berlin music schools present music -related people of all ages and musical backgrounds on the large stage of the State Opera Unter den Linden. Under the motto "12 music schools - a day in the opera!" the program offers a versatile insight into the world of music and theater.

The event is moderated by director Nils Niemann and includes contributions that range from opera history to baroque, classical, romance to modernity. Various genres are presented, from opera and ballet to musicals to experimental acts and pop music. The program gives an impression of the quality and diversity of the music pedagogical offer at the public music schools in Berlin.

Another highlight is the awarding of the “Berlin Music School Prize” to outstanding music school teachers: inside. The music schools also present themselves with an information stand where teachers answer questions and participating offers around the instrument of 2024, the tuba.

The day of Berlin music schools offers music and theater lovers the opportunity to take part in a unique event and to get to know the musical offer of the public music schools in Berlin. The event starts at 10 a.m. in the Apollosaal of the State Opera Unter den Linden and the entry is 5 euros or reduced 3 euros.
