Construction work at Wilhelmsruher See: restrictions and diversions
Important construction work at Wilhelmsruher See: What the residents should know
From the beginning of September 2024, the idyllic surroundings of the Wilhelmsruhe lake will be changed significantly for residents and visitors. The bank renovation work is an essential project to maintain and improve green areas in the region, but can also bring significant restrictions on the community.
The construction work begins in the first week of September and have far -reaching consequences. The all -round park path, which is used for walks and relaxation, is blocked. This also affects the playground north, which is an important point of contact for families in the neighborhood.
In order to ensure access to nature, the southern entrance is kept as open as possible via the Siegfried-Sparuch-Weg and the eastern access via Heegermühler Weg. Families can continue to reach the playground and the adjacent green area, even if temporary closures are not excluded.
Particular attention is paid to the Tollerstraße, which between Hertzstraße and Garibaldistraße from 02.09. until 08.09.2024 will be closed at times. During this period, an paved layer of support is installed for the access area to the construction site. However, the path remains passable for pedestrians, so that there is still a certain approach.
The western parking access via Tollerstrasse will remain closed during the entire construction phase. This area is used as a construction site furnishing area, which means that materials and machines for construction work are housed here. In order to enable construction site traffic, stopping zones were set up in Hertzstrasse and Tollerstrasse. These are valid from Monday to Friday and the request is to observe the regulations.
This construction work is necessary to guarantee the attractiveness and safety of the green area at Wilhelmsruher See in the long term. The renovation of the bank areas aims to protect and revitalize the natural environment. In the community, this is viewed both as a temporary disadvantage and as a long -term advantage, since the preservation of natural spaces for future generations is of crucial importance.
Residents and visitors are asked to understand the understanding of the restrictions caused by the construction work and to plan their routes accordingly. The commitment to a citizen -friendly and natural environment will improve the quality of life around Wilhelmsruher See and has the participation of the community playing an important role in the project.
