Pamela fights for survival: New girlfriend gives hope in difficult times!

Pamela, 58, which is known from the RTLZWEI socialoku "Hartz and warmly", is currently in an extremely precarious life situation in Rostock. She lives in a shared apartment and has to share the bedroom with a man, which is an unbearable burden for her. After two years of homelessness and a year in the hostel, she suffers from constant fear of standing again without an apartment. "How would you feel like a woman if you have to sleep with Stephan in a room? Can't move as you would like," she expresses her frustration in the documentary. She gains hope through a new girlfriend, Helga, who happened to meet in Warnemünde and offered the immediate support, such as reported.

Helga is aware that Pam has to do something to change her unsustainable situation. Together they make plans to apply for a disability pension and search for their own apartment. However, dealing with the job center brings numerous difficulties. "You have no power. You are so dependent on the job center that they can play with you like a football. You have to obey them, you have to work. You have to accept that too. Otherwise you are back on the street. This is our society," explains Helga, as she encourages Pamela to find her way, as it is in an additional report from FOCUS

The two women face a huge challenge, but the new friendship gives Pamela new courage to actively improve their life situation. The exchange with Helga could be crucial for her future, while it is aware of the dependency on the job center and develop solutions together.
