O.J. Simpson died at the age of 76

The former football star o.J. Simpson died of cancer at the age of 76. Born on July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, Simpson showed his sporting talent early on and, as a professional, achieved great success in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills. After retreating from sport, he became known as an actor and sports commentator.

The year 1994 brought a turn in Simpson's life when the persecution of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found after a live chase with the police. Although Simpson was acquitted in a spectacular century process in 1995, he was later blamed for their death in a civil proceedings and sentenced to a high compensation.

Another incident in 2008 finally led to 33 years in prison for armed robbery and assault. After premature discharge in 2017, he spent his rest of his life in Las Vegas, apart from the public.
