Norbert Bisky and the city fox: Discover Art in the heart of Berlin!

Berlin, Deutschland - Norbert Bisky, an outstanding painter of the contemporary art scene in Berlin, recently opened a captivating exhibition that reflects both his artistic vision and its connection to the urban environment. On the way home from his studio he met a city fox who lives in one of the most lively quarters in Berlin, near Boxhagener Platz. The fox feeds on fast food remains that are left behind by tourists. Although the fox did not greet the artist, he became a heraldic animal of Bisky's exhibition, where he is presented in the upper right picture of his works.

The exhibition contains an impressive installation that consists of various remains of city life, including electricity boxes, lantern shields, street signs, a street watch and an excellent illumination of a gay meeting from Schöneberg. Interestingly, the installation can be made to light up through a bell shield, which illustrates the relationship between art and everyday life in Berlin in an impressive way.

artistic diversity in Berlin

Berlin is known for its rich and dynamic art scene, which ranges from graffiti to contemporary galleries. One of the most important places where you can feel the creative energy of the city is the East Side Gallery , an open-air gallery on an section of the Berlin Wall. Here visitors find over 100 murals of international artists who convey topics such as freedom and peace.

Another figure of the Berlin art scene is the Urban Nation , a Museum for Road Art in Schöneberg, the works of well-known artists presented. There are also institutions such as the Hamburger Bahnhof , a former train station that today shows works by greats such as Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys.

a place for artists

The Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Kreuzberg is another center for creative minds that offers studio rooms for international artists and is known for its artist-in-residence program. The Berlinische Galerie plays an important role in the modern art scene and houses collections from 1870 to the present.

With his installation, which represents the city fox and plays critically with the zeitgeist, Norbert Bisky sets a sign and invites visitors to think about the connections between art, nature and urbanity. His work is a reminiscence of the pulsating life of Berlin and a must for every art lover.
