Neukölln Dance Festival 2023: Students present contemporary dance projects in the Gropiusstadt community house

According to a report by www.berlin.de Dance! " for the fourth time. The festival is supported by district councilor Karin Korte and presents contemporary dance projects of approx. 60 Neukölln students inside of all school forms. This year the festival is under the motto "Tanzheater" and also includes a workshop day in the Albrecht-Dürer-Gymnasium in collaboration with actors of Thikwa. The goal of the festival is to strengthen cultural education and contemporary dance in schools in the district and to promote the talents of the students. It was emphasized that cooperation with external institutions and artists inside was an important part of the festival concept.

As a Berlin citizen, I am happy to see how local initiatives such as "Neukölln dance!" promote the cultural education and identity of the students in my district. Such projects not only contribute to the artistic development of the students, but also strengthen the community and networking of schools in Neukölln.
