Erstmals beteiligen sich die Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz und das Museum Neukölln am Festival 48 Stunden Neukölln, das vom 28. bis 30. Juni 2024 stattfindet. The year 1924 marks the birth of the Berlin S-Bahn, the unmistakable sound of which has shaped the city for decades. With the elimination of the historical features, the background noise of Berlin changed drastically. Bodo Hartwig takes up this lost sound world in his soundscape composition "Berliner Lied’24" and lets her sound in the Museum Neukölln.

The exhibition "Buried Memories" of the Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz critically deals with the genocide to the Ovaherero and Nama. Through photographs by Bodo Hartwig and artistic work, memory is supported by this dark chapter of history.
