Fairlauf 2024: Discover Neukölln's fair favorite shops!
The "Fairlauf 2024" invites Neuköllner: Interior and interested parties to discover new favorite shops with fair trade products in Neukölln during the "Fair Week 2024" from September 13th to 27th, 2024. This joint action of the Neukölln district with the Fair Handel Berlin campaign alliance aims to highlight the diversity and availability of fair offers in Neukölln.
A total of eight stations take part in the Neuköllner "Fairlauf", including collectively operated cafes, grocery stores, shops for fair children's clothing and restaurants with their own permaculture garden. The product range includes baby socks, wine, spices and more. Participants receive a “fair pass” at all stations and can win small surprises by collecting stickers.
A highlight of the event is the "Fair Cuisine for All" on September 18, 2024 in the Kulturlabor Trial & Error, in which fair and rescued ingredients are used. In addition, the film "The Chocolate War" is shown and then discussed, which deals with the fight against child labor on cocoa lantatia.

The Action Alliance Fair Handel Berlin is committed to globally fair trade and sustainable consumption and production patterns in the capital by visiting the diversity and effectiveness of the fair trade movement in Berlin. It consists of over 50 organizations from different areas that work together on projects and campaigns.
