Unveiling: District Mayor plans the second information event on the planned refugee accommodation
With regard to the information event, which recently took place in the Britzer Garden for the planned construction of a joint accommodation for refugees, the district mayor Martin Hikel made a statement.
He emphasized that several hundred people were present, which illustrates the high interest in the location of the Senate. Nevertheless, he regretted that the acoustics were unacceptable on site and apologized to everyone who could not follow the event due to sound problems, although the district office was not responsible for the sound system.
In order to counteract this grievance, Hikel proposed to hold a second information event in another format. The exact details of this event will be announced promptly.
The numerous discussions during the event showed that many people have justified questions and concerns. The district mayor promised that all questions received in the next few weeks will be answered as much as possible and the answers will be published transparently.
Further information on the planned accommodation on Sangerhauser Weg are continuously updated.
