New podcast: Discover Jewish life in Germany for young people!

A new fascinating podcast entitled "Jewish for Beginners" has been created! The 18-year-old Beran Arukaslan, student at the Jewish High School in Moses Mendelssohn in Berlin, shares his unique insights into Jewish life and culture in Germany with young people and their parents. Although even Jewish, Beran is motivated by his school education and intensive examination of Judaism to reduce clichés and question prejudices. His podcast comprises seven episodes, the first of which has already been published and was published on Jewish New Year, the October 4th.

In every episode,

Beran has a 30-minute conversation with members of the Jewish community, which he visits on site. The guests include Rabbi Yitzhak Ehrenberg, musician Ben Solomo, director of the Jewish Museum Berlin Hetty Berg and photographer Yoram Roth. The podcast appears every two week and can be heard on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music. This exciting project is supported by the Quadriga University of Berlin in terms of content and produced by the Berlin podcast studio "Studio36", while the "Hell & Karrer" agency takes over the PR work.
