State program Kitas move - District City Council informed about the start of the implementation phase

Moving as part of the "State Program Kitas-for the good healthy daycare center" (LGGK), the district councilor for youth, family and health, Christoph Keller, together with seven daycare providers, signed an agreement to implement the program. This marks the start of a two-year implementation phase in which the participating daycare centers will promote educational and health promotion in everyday day care centers.

The program is aimed at pedagogical specialists, children and their parents and should help young people in the district grow up under healthy and beneficial conditions. The participating daycare centers are accompanied in a quality development process and have the opportunity to set their own focus on their individual needs. This includes multiplier training, free training offers and accompanying materials. The beginning of the accompanied training is planned for March 1, 2024.

District City Councilor Christoph Keller emphasizes the importance of the program for healthy growing up young people in the district. He is pleased that seven committed carriers are now starting a new implementation phase after Mitte served as a pilot district for the program.
