Creative upcycling campaign in Berlin: Design sustainable plant hangers!

In the meeting place on Spandauer Straße, everything revolves around sustainability and creativity. As part of the Berlin volunteer week 2024, citizens have the opportunity to take part in an upcycling campaign. On September 30, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., old materials can be transformed into colorful plant hangers.

The participants are invited to design the trailers, fill with earth and seeds and then either take them home or exhibit them in the meeting place. In addition to creative work, the campaign offers the opportunity to find out more about further commitment options in the Mitte volunteer office for tea and coffee.

This free event aims to strengthen awareness of sustainable use of resources and to enable an inspiring exchange. Interested parties are welcome to contact the Mitte honorary office office at Ehrenamt@ba-mitte.berlin.de or by phone at 0173 534 7139.
