Free walks for sustainable planting in Berlin-Mitte

In June, the district coordination Osloer Straße invites you to two free walks around the topic of sustainable planting. The first walk, "The beds on Grüntaler Straße (help shape)", takes place on Thursday, June 13th, at 3 p.m. The meeting point is the intersection Grüntaler Straße/Soldiner Straße. The Foundation designs and maintains the beautiful beds on Grüntaler Straße, which are an eye -catcher all year round. During this walk, participants learn which plants thrive there, how they can best be combined and where help is needed.

On June 20th at 6 p.m. the second walk will take place, “shaping city green”. Here, too, the meeting point is the intersection Grüntaler Straße/Soldiner Straße. While the beds on Grüntaler Straße are concerned with the correct planting of tree slices, Günter Fuchs, who is the new contact for the city green in the middle, clarifies which plants can be used, how a small fence should be created and how the tree slice can be irrigated. Registration is not required, participation is free.

The two walks offer citizens the opportunity to actively participate in the design of the city grass and to learn more about sustainable planting. The district coordination Osloer Straße is available for questions and special needs. The contact details are listed at the end of the press release.

For interested citizens who would like to deal with the topic of sustainable planting and city green, the two walks represent an informative and practical opportunity. By participating directly, you can make a contribution to the beautification of your district and deepen your knowledge of the correct planting.
