Die aktuelle Auswertung der Einschulungsuntersuchungen für das Schuljahr 2022/2023 im Bezirk Mitte zeigt erhöhte gesundheitliche und entwicklungsbezogene Herausforderungen bei den Kindern. Einschulungskinder aus Mitte belegen im Vergleich mit anderen Bezirken hintere Rangplätze in Bezug auf familiäres Gesundheits- und Risikoverhalten, Gesundheit und Entwicklung. Besonders auffällig sind Defizite bei der Teilnahme an Früherkennungsuntersuchungen, Sprachdefiziten und einem höheren Anteil übergewichtiger Kinder.
