European elections 2024: Become election workers in Berlin-Mitte!
On June 9th, 2024 the election to the European Parliament and the district councilor for social affairs and civil services, Carsten Spallek, is called up to support the election board members. Experienced election workers and newcomers are encouraged to get involved and explain their willingness. The missions of the election workers last from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., although they prepare the polling station from 7 a.m. and count the ballot paper after closing.
The election boards play a crucial role in every choice and are responsible for the smooth implementation of the election process. The training for the election workers will take place in May and the exact dates will be communicated in early May. It is pointed out that the election workers receive a refreshing allowance and possibly also free -time compensation.
The standby declaration can be viewed and filled out online. There is also the possibility to be active on an election board together with other volunteers and to state preferences for the location.
