A new television hit is just around the corner! From October 30, 2024, the impro comedy "Micha thinks big" will captivate the audience. With an irresistible charm and lots of wit, the Dream team around Charly Hübner, Lars Jessen and Jan Georg Schütte brings fresh wind to German television! This co-production by ARD Degeto Film and MDR not only promises great entertainment, but also appeals to a pressing topic: Water shortage in Saxony-Anhalt!

The filmmakers had support from scientists such as Steffen Mau and Ilko Sascha Kowalczuk and the author Anne Rabe to discuss current challenges with civil society.

The story itself is as exciting as it is full of life: visionary Micha, who returns from Berlin, wants to build a large retreat for creative minds in his home village. But contrary to his high dreams, he encounter skepticism and distrust. Reality quickly catches up with the water from the taps, and Micha has to become active to save his project. Here an exciting network of envy, friendship and competition par excellence, which the audience takes on an unexpected trip.
