An accident on the A9 between Beelitz and Brück on Monday afternoon has led to considerable traffic disruptions in the region. The accident had an impact on different streets, including the A10, the B2 between Seddin and Beelitz and the B246 from Brück towards Beelitz. The B2 between Buchholz and Treuenbrietzen was also affected by the traffic jam. According to the ADAC, drivers had to expect at least one hour of time loss on the A9 from the Potsdam triangle to the Brück junction.
The accident occurred when a truck saddle train was on a hedging car of a daily construction site around 12 noon. The trailer of the hedging car was completely destroyed in the impact, and the tractor of the truck on the truck also suffered significant damage. The driver of the truck was slightly injured. The fire brigade from Borkheide secured the scene of the accident, recorded run -out operating materials and cleaned the road.
